HOURS & DAYS OF OPERATIONS 
Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is open seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The last shuttle to USS Arizona Memorial departs at 3:00 PM.

BLACK OUT DATES

  • Thanksgiving Day (last Thursday of November).
  • Christmas Day (December 25th).
  • New Year’s Day (January 1st).

Note: The address for Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is  1 Arizona Memorial Place, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96816.  A search  just for “Pearl Harbor” will take you Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) the military base not the  Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

Public Transportation 
It is possible to visit Pearl Harbor by taking a city bus from Kuhio Ave. or the Ala Moana Shopping Center.  It generally takes the city bus to reach the harbor between an hour and hour and half, depending on traffic.  Despite the fact that Oahu public services are pretty efficient, keep in mind the bus makes several stops before reaching its destination. 

Pearl Harbor Historic Sites On-Site Transportation
 
There is a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm between  Ford Island and  the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.  Allow 30 minutes for round trip shuttle ride.  This shuttles is the only way for visitors not holding a valid USA military to visit the USS Misouri, the Pacific Aviation Museun  and the USS Oklahoma Memorial.
 
Pearl Harbor Visitor Center Parking
Parking lots can be full on busy days and it  could be hard to find parking spaces.  Please plan according. Please park before unloading.

Locked and secured and do not leave valuables in your car. There are cars brake-in despite that fact that there are federal law enforcement officers and security bike patrols monitoring the parking facitlities The National Park Service cannot be held responsible for any items that may be stolen from your cars or any broken windows.  
 
Directions to the Pearl Harbor Visitors Center  
Note: Do not take the “Hickam AFB / Pearl Harbor” exit. This will not take you to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center  but to the active military base, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
